Having been in the banking profession for the last 20 odd years we all have amusing stoires to tell about incidents etc. Obviously confidentiality needs to be assured but the stories, some urban legend, make for intersting reading.
I'll kick off with a story which I still find amusing in that while a HR Manager I had a teller who did not feel well. Instead of letting him go home and I would be at a loss as resourcing is always a problem I sent him to the pharmacy to get some over the counter medication. A few days later I saw him taking Triphasil in the rest room ( for those that don't know- it is a contraceptive pill for women) and he told me that the pharmacist had given this to him. I knew there was problem and phoned the pharmacist and we both had a good chuckle as the previous customer had forgotten to take her packet and the cashier had put RF medication in the same packet so he thought it was meant for him as well.
At least I was sure he wasn't going to fall pregnant !!
